What is a Maker Kit Video like?
In the videos, I (That’s me, Sarah! 👋) walk you through making your bag step by step. I made these videos thinking about some of my favorite 10-12 year olds who are very new to crochet, so I hope the instructions are simple and beginner-friendly.
What kind of bag will I make?
Our first Maker Kit is for a Cora Crossbody bag—in five gorgeous color options. If lots of you enjoy making The Cora, we would love to have more Maker Kits for other bags available in the future!
What ages are Maker Kits for?
My advice is 10+. But with adult help (especially if the adult has some crochet experience), even younger kids could have success with this kit.
Maker Kits aren’t just for kids though! All ages can have fun and make something beautiful.
How long will it take to make my bag?
An experienced crocheter can make The Cora Crossbody in an hour or less. For beginners, don’t expect to complete your bag in one sitting. Take your time and enjoy the process by working in small chunks of time over multiple days.
